Prescription Medicines Order Line (MOL)

There is a central team called the NHS Prescription Medicines Order Line (MOL) and you can order your repeat prescription through a quick and simple telephone call to 0115 855 0260, 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

To save patients waiting in a phone queue we have introduced a call back system where patients can email a request for a call back from MOL.

Patients can find information on how to email a request for a call back by visiting www.derbyandderbyshireccg.nhs.uk

In the email itself patients will need to tell MOL:

• Their GP practice
• Their name
• Their DOB
• Their contact telephone number
• Press send

Please note that no responses will be provided to patients via email as the purpose of email is to request a call back only. MOL expect to be able to call patients back within 48 hours (excluding Sat and Sun) but that may vary according to the volume of enquiries they are processing. They will attempt to call patients back three times only.

In future you may wish to consider registering for our Online Services. The Online Services system remembers which medications you are on and makes requesting repeat prescriptions faster and easier.
